She was also very efficient in completing my foot x-rays and getting them onto the screen for the doctor to study. Dr Shelton was then able to let me know about a bone spur and other foot issues I was unaware of. He kindly discussed options with me. His recommendations let me know that he had listened carefully to my concerns and cared about them.

I have been seeing Dr Shelton for several years now. He’s great! He helps you understand the issues, what your options are and he doesn’t push surgery. I have heel spurs and I had seen 3 other podiatrists all telling me surgery was the only course. Dr. Shelton saw me and told me that while he thought surgery could be helpful he didn’t think I should just go straight for it without trying other things and really considering the recovery period. He was honest! And I am so grateful that he was. I did eventually have surgery and he did a great job. He has a great lady helping him as well (Wendy). It’s a small office but it’s a good office!
